I bought this for my boys for Christmas. Ages 11 and 8. They were thrilled. It was a definite hit. It was actually better than I had expected. The written stories had a lot of details and there were a lot of pictures.
I had also told my friend about it. She has a reluctant reader who is 8. He has almost read the whole thing. It is the longest book he has read on his own (without mom forcing him.)
Then my 8 year olds friend saw the book and is going to spend his own money to buy himself a copy!
