One of the biggest challenges to having daily family scripture study is setting aside time and making it a priority for the whole family. This has been especially hard with younger children. What have other families done to make that goal a reality?
We've lately been reading the scriptures online, with the web page blown up to as large as text size as possible for the kids to read and then using the cursor to highlight words as we read them. We limit our studies to only one verse each or one topic of study per night. 5 minutes is the max length.
At one point, we printed off the seminary scripture mastery verses on slips of paper and created a scripture jar. Each child pulled a slip of paper and read the verse (alone or with mom/dad). Then we would talk about the scripture. It worked well for smaller children and involved everyone in drawing a scripture.
